DESCRIPTION:Peikko Finland has invited Structural engineering club Vääntö for an excursion to their Lahti factory! As an international family-owned company Peikko is shaping the future of construction with smart connection and composite structure solutions.  \nInitial schedule for the day (timings may slightly change):\n8:50 – Bus departure from Mechanical Engineering 1\, Otakaari 4\n10:30 – Arrival in Lahti\, coffee\, and company introduction\n12:00 – Lunch\n13:00 – Factory tour\n15:00 – End of the visit and return trip to Otaniemi\n16:30 – Arrival in Otaniemi\n17:00 – Sauna night begins at Otakaari 20 \nAfter the excursion\, a warm sauna and cold drinks with snacks await us at Otakaari 20\, where we’ll spend the evening together with our sister club from Tampere\, Nurjahdus! Make sure to bring a towel and swimwear with you!  \nThe excursion bus has a total of 26 seats for eager participants. Registration opens already on Tuesday\, October 21st at 12:00. The excursion and sauna evening are intended only for members of Vääntö\, so please make sure to join us as a member before signing up – thank you!
