Peikko Finland excursion & sauna night with Nurjahdus

Peikko Finland has invited Structural engineering club Vääntö for an excursion to their Lahti factory! As an international family-owned company Peikko is shaping the future of construction with smart connection and composite structure solutions.

Initial schedule for the day (timings may slightly change):
8:50 – Bus departure from Mechanical Engineering 1, Otakaari 4
10:30 – Arrival in Lahti, coffee, and company introduction
12:00 – Lunch
13:00 – Factory tour
15:00 – End of the visit and return trip to Otaniemi
16:30 – Arrival in Otaniemi
17:00 – Sauna night begins at Otakaari 20

After the excursion, a warm sauna and cold drinks with snacks await us at Otakaari 20, where we’ll spend the evening together with our sister club from Tampere, Nurjahdus! Make sure to bring a towel and swimwear with you!

The excursion bus has a total of 26 seats for eager participants. Registration opens already on Tuesday, October 21st at 12:00. The excursion and sauna evening are intended only for members of Vääntö, so please make sure to join us as a member before signing up – thank you! It’s free by the way 😉 as are all of our events!
